Often running a business on your own or working with your loved ones can result in feeling like you do nothing but work, especially if you live together, sometimes it's all you talk about, right?
Whilst at times this can be exciting, it can equally be exhausting and lead to arguments, resentment and let's not shy away from it; the constant grind can and is hard work.
You can get so busy building and developing the business, serving your clients, and dealing with staff and suppliers that you drift off track with the balance of life.
Everything you are working towards seems to take just that bit longer, that sales target you set, is so close yet so far, and the projects you deliver for your clients are exciting, but just as soon as you finish you fall back into a state of worry and anxiety, wondering where the next big project is coming from.
Business is good, you make good money and somehow you've gotten used to the roller coaster ride of emotions it brings, after all, isn't that how it's supposed to be?
Isn't it supposed to be hard work, going the extra mile, the long days, late nights and weekends?
Sometimes, yes!
Especially in the beginning, that's perhaps when "you just gotta hustle..."
...But
You can see where you want to be, the next level of business growth, but something seems to be holding you back...
...you can tell this if your profits have levelled off a little year on year and you're reporting similar results, which if we account for inflation, could mean you are quietly going backwards and that slippage can creep and bite you big-time if you are not careful!
Sadly we see this a lot!
Established businesses can get comfortable, and complacent and over time become stagnant and stale.
This turns to frustration and resentment and slowly the dreams you once had erode and evaporate.
The new car, the next house purchase, the holidays and the next boat you want to buy all get put off - delayed until eventually forgotten!
Ouch!!!
Yes ouch.
If you were to stop just long enough and take a close look at what's going on, the truth about your life and business is not quite as you planned, that's of course if you ever had a plan in the first place?
We want this to be fast for you for two reasons:
